We are excited to announce the opening of a new Staff Secure Residential Treatment program in the Saugus, MA, area and we are hiring a Clinician. This new initiative will expand our reach and enhance our ability to serve our community effectively. The new Saugus area Girls Program will be dedicated to fostering positive change in young females involved with the Department of Youth Services, aged 13-18 through a comprehensive range of services designed to enhance their behavioral, educational, and social skills.
As part of our mission, we currently operate two treatment facilities in partnership with the Department of Youth Services: the Kennedy School in Middleton, MA, a Secure Treatment program serving young men, and the New Beginnings Center for Youth in South Hadley MA, a staff secure residential program, serving young women. These programs are pivotal in providing the necessary support for our residents to successfully reintegrate into their communities and become the best versions of themselves.
Our approach is holistic and tailored to the individual needs of each resident, encompassing educational opportunities (high school, college or Hi-SET courses), life skills training, therapeutic services, and recreational activities. The therapeutic services are particularly focused on helping residents develop strategies to improve coping skills and make positive decisions, becoming the best versions of themselves.
Who we Seek
We seek a dynamic clinician to be part of our growing staff secure residential treatment program. You will work with our youth, families and staff and provide individual, family and group therapy, facilitate treatment conference meetings for assigned caseload, attend weekly team meetings and monthly medication review meetings. Documentation includes progress notes, quarterly reports, and treatment plans. Case management includes liaison to referral agencies, school districts and other collaterals involved in the client's care, communication with parents and guardians and scheduling visits.
* Providing individual, group, and family therapy to assigned caseloads.
* Developing, presenting, and implementing Individualized Master Treatment Plans.
* Conducting risk assessments and managing client crises.
* Actively participating in supporting a healthy treatment milieu.
* Following all RFK Community AllianceClinical and Program policies and procedures.
* During training, staff, and clinical meetings, providing leadership regarding program philosophy and policy in all forums, including living space and the school.
* Conducting group treatment with residents according to treatment recommendations and as designated by Clinical Director.
* Attending workshops/training related to professional growth to enhance clinical expertise and maintain licensure.
* Providing clinical training/in-service to program staff.
* Attending all required meetings: Staff and Clinical Meetings, Monthly conferences, Program administration, Psychiatric Reviews, Foster care Reviews, and CORE/School meetings
* Work collaboratively with DYS.
Who You Are
You are a licensed or licensed eligible clinician who is creative, energetic and wants to make a
difference. You will provide trauma-informed therapeutic support and guidance for youth to overcome their challenges and reach their full potential. You are looking to use your
experience and skills in a collaborative group setting. Specific qualifications:
* Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work
* One year of one of clinicalexperience
* Strong organizational skills as well as solid oral and written communication skills
* Requires Massachusetts Licensure or license eligibility.
* Familiarity with developmental theory. Residential and juvenile justice experience is a plus.
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 9-5: One late night working 11-7 is required

$2,500 Sign-On Incentive
This position is eligible for the RFK Community Alliance Sign-On Incentive in the amount of $2,500 in your first year of employment. You will receive $500 after 3 months; $500 after 6 months; $1,500 after 12 months.
