WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Audiovisual Technician to support and enhance our office's audiovisual systems. This role is essential for ensuring that both internal and external office events are technologically seamless and impactful. YOU'RE GOOD AT

AV Management and Coordination

  • Collaboratively share knowledge and best practices within our IT/AV team.
  • Conduct regular system checks to guarantee smooth operations.
  • Diligently manage our equipment in the Asset database, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Utilization of internal scheduling tools for flawless execution of Meeting support.
  • Keep our ServiceNow ticketing system updated will AV-related issues and requests.
Daily Operational Support
  • Provide comprehensive AV support for meetings, events, video conferencing, and other needs.
  • Skillfully troubleshoot AV problems, both hardware and software.
  • Conduct thorough root-cause analyses for technical challenges.
  • Identify and arrange external equipment rentals for large-scale events.
  • Actively support Case Teams with AV requests.

Document Management

  • Maintain and update essential documentation, including but not limited to:
  • In-room user "Quick Reference Guides."
  • Training materials for meeting room AV technology.
  • IT technical reference guides (schematics, installation documents, settings, etc.).
Training and Development
  • Coordinate and manage training campaigns, documentation, and communications.
  • Train staff across various roles (IT, Concierge, Receptionist, end-users) in meeting room AV setups, promoting autonomy and skill development.
  • Conduct regular training refreshers to ensure ongoing skill enhancement.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • 2-4 years of A/V support experience
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • A/V integration and management experience
  • Effective communication with vendors and external partners
  • Knowledge of media production techniques and technologies (is a plus)
  • Crestron certification (is a plus)

YOU'LL WORK WITH

The Business Services Team (BST) consists of various functional professionals, including our business management and operations team members, who work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. Members of this team contribute directly to the success of our business through several roles, including IT/AV Support, executive and administrative assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This role currently requires 5 days a week in office presence. This in-office plan allows for critically important learning, collaboration and networking with our colleagues.

Overtime required as needed to ensure business continuity and critical triage

Compensation Information:

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
