Job Description
ERG seeks an entry-level environmental analyst with 0-2 years of work experience and a B.S./B.A. in environmental studies/science, environmental policy, or a related field. The candidate will bring creativity and attention to detail to a range of projects supporting public sector clients and programs. Projects will primarily focus on clean transportation and circular economy initiatives.
Job Description:
  • Developing communications content and materials tailored to target audiences
  • Engaging stakeholders through interviews, focus groups, and other meeting formats
  • Coordinating event logistics and providing comprehensive virtual and in-person meeting support
  • Conducting research, analyzing data, writing case studies and reports, and disseminating the results
  • Supporting grant programs by responding to applicant questions, reviewing applications, and developing outreach materials
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align and integrate outreach strategies
  • The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, comfortable working and learning independently and collaborating with colleagues and clients both in-person and in a virtual environment
  • Demonstrates strong organizational abilities and can balance and prioritize assignments with competing deadlines
  • Is an excellent writer and can distill and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Has experience writing for various audiences (technical, general public, industry stakeholders) and across all mediums (print, online, and social)
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams), graphic design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Canva), and survey tools (e.g., Google Forms) is a plus
