Hi-Rel & Space Product Manager (MMIC)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a Hi-Rel & Space strategy for MACOMs MMIC portfolio
  • Work with BU to expand the Hi-Rel & Space business globally
  • Work closely with MACOM sales team to evaluate and win Hi-Rel and Space opportunities
  • Engage directly with customers to review their mission requirements in order to provide suitable MMIC and screening recommendations
  • Creation of ATPs
  • Create detailed quotations for Hi-Rel & Space jobs
  • Maintain an up-to-date expert knowledge of traditional mil standards as well as more recent new space screenings specifications.
  • Understanding military standards MIL-PRF-38534 and MIL-PRF-38535 as well as test method MIL-STD-883. Additional familiarity with EE-INST-002, PEM-INST-001 and ESA requirements
  • Assist in the implementation of an effective Hi-Rel organizational structure along with all the required flows
  • Work closely with product and design engineering to develop Hi-Rel solutions
  • Partner with the Hi-Rel operations team to execute ATPs
  • Program management of all Hi-Rel MMIC projects
  • Communicate screening milestone updates to management and customers

Key Attributes:

  • Strong technical knowledge of RF and Microwave components and Hi-Rel & Space systems
  • Expert knowledge of Hi-Rel Mil standards
  • Ability to work closely with engineering and operations to execute Hi-Rel activities
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels of customer organizations from executive management to technical leadership.
  • Team player who enjoys solving problems collaboratively

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience
  • Experience with Hi-Rel and Space qualification requirements for RF components
  • Previous experience in RF/Microwave integrated circuit design or applications engineering
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to customers and management
