Certifications: CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP

Job description

  • Tests, implements, deploys, maintains, reviews, and administers the infrastructure hardware and software that are required to effectively manage the computer network defense service provider network and resources. Monitors network to actively remediate unauthorized activities.
  • Assists with Information Assurance, system(s) Authority to Operate and RMF processes.

Skills:

  • Build, install, configure, and test cyber defense solutions.
  • Perform system administration on cyber defense applications and systems (e.g., vulnerability scanning, SIEM, audit and remediation) devices, to include installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, and restoration.
  • Ensure cyber defense applications, tools, and other solutions are updated, patched, and maintained IAW information systems security policy and industry best practices.
  • Employ secure configuration management processes.
  • Document and address organization's information security, CS architecture, and systems security engineering requirements throughout the systems' life cycle.
  • Evaluate the adequacy of security infrastructure and designs.
  • Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop a security risk management plan.
  • Determine the security controls for the information system(s) and network(s) and document appropriately.
  • Implement RMF A&A requirements for dedicated cyber defense systems within the network, and document and maintain records.
  • Provide input to the RMF process activities including system life-cycle support plans, concept of operations, operational procedures, and maintenance training materials.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using Government tools.
  • Conduct SIEM analysis using Government provided tools.
  • Manage and perform information systems scanning processes utilizing Government provided tools.
  • Work with stakeholders to resolve computer security incidents and vulnerability compliance.
  • Provide support for CS analysis and auditing processes.
  • Develop Cyber Defense Infrastructure Administration processes, procedures, and other related documentation
