GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
The Clinical Technology Educator will be responsible for the development, preparing, implementation, and monitoring of education and staff competency for various patient-care based technologies supported by the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
S/he will identify existing skills gaps, formulate corresponding training needs and objectives, and execute needed training by providing presentations, workshops, or technology-supported training. The well qualified candidate will have in-depth knowledge of, and a clinical and technical aptitude for, patient-care technologies. They should have excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS degree required; Degree in Biomedical Engineering preferred.
* Experience with patient-care based technologies.
* Experience in training and evaluation methods.
