A Day in Your Life at MKS
As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will serve as a trusted partner to the managers of our Plasma & Reactive Gas Solutions (P&RGS) business unit and manufacturing site, located in Wilmington, MA. You will work with team members from every function and contribute to the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the site. You will need to be able to work independently, be detail oriented and highly organized to manage priorities. This role provides the opportunity for growth and expanded responsibilities and will provide a platform for future development within Human Resources. You will report into an HR Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:
* Acting as a trusted business partner to site management and employees to address questions and issues that arise, providing sound HR guidance and counsel in a responsive and timely manner.
* Being responsible for driving all HR programs, projects and activities at the site, advising and guiding managers and employees on such matters including performance management, employee relations, development, succession, training, immigration/visa matters, HR process improvement, HR metrics/reporting, candidate interviewing and selection and more.
* Partnering with our HR Centers of Excellence (e.g. total rewards/benefits, talent acquisition, talent and org development, communications) serving as the liaison for the site employee population in the roll out of programs and to help address and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring a high-quality level of service is provided.
* Working with management to create development plans, identify training resources and ensure employee training and development needs are met.
* Conducting New Hire Orientations and continuously improve the onboarding and off-boarding processes. Completes Form I-9's in a timely manner.
* Managing leaves of absences for site.
* Participating in other site/business related projects and events as required, including the site Safety Committee.

Skills that You Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist/HRBP, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of HR experience.
* Working knowledge of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
* Knowledge of State and Federal laws impacting employment and ability to interpret and apply applicable laws and regulations.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade stakeholders, peers, and management.
* High level of integrity and ability to work with confidential information.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) strongly desired.
* Occasional local travel necessary.
