Job Purpose:

The main responsibility of this position is implementing & maintaining the security of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, PCs, telephony, and collaboration systems in the USA, Canada, and Brazil.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Lead infrastructure security projects on time and within budget.
  2. Project manage a regional portion of global security initiatives and collaborate with regional and global teams.
  3. Work closely with outsourced data center and other providers to ensure proper security practices are followed.
  4. Ensure that inventories are managed and maintained in a manner consistent with ISO27001.
  5. Define disaster recovery and business continuity plans and work with the team to implement them.
  6. Test business continuity plans and disaster recovery plans
  7. Ensure proper preparations have been made for incident management and participate in tabletop exercises.
  8. Perform hardening of servers and other systems.
  9. Monitor vendor security advisories and Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), and also remediate CVEs.
  10. Perform audits of user identities in Active Directory and other systems.
  11. Work with Internal & External Audit teams to address audit findings with appropriate remediation plans.
  12. Work with administrators to develop and document equipment replacement plans.
  13. Perform reporting on vulnerability assessments, patch applications, CVE remediation.
  14. Follow all other processes and procedures as defined by the local and Global IT departments and Company policy.
  15. Follow all governance guidelines and procedures of IT.
  16. Other duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

  1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, other technical field or specialized training / equivalent work experience.
  2. 3-5 years experience managing infrastructure security.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  5. Experience with Qualys, or other security scanning systems.
  6. Experience with setting up and using SIEM logging (Qradar experience a plus)
  7. Experience securing cloud systems.
  8. Experience with asset and change management and associated tools.
  9. Experience with VMware or similar virtualization technology.
  10. Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing.
  11. Experience with various Windows operating systems for servers and PCs.
  12. Experience securing Linux systems a plus.
  13. Security certifications a plus.
  14. Domestic and International travel may be required up to 20%.
