Project Manager (Engineering)

Advantage Technical is seeking an Engineer Project Manager for a top global electronics manufacturer in Franklin, MA.
Must be onsite local candidates only! This is a great opportunity for an Engineer who has 2-3 years of experience working for a DOD company in a PMO environment and has worked on projects and worked along the Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, and Software engineering groups. This is NOT an IT focused role; the proper candidate should have a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background. Position Type
: Contract to Hire

Position Location: Franklin, MA

Position Salary: $48/HR - $57/HR (Depending on Experience)


Responsibilities:

  • Support the Program Manager with the creation of program plans including the development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for management of scope to ensure alignment with contract requirements, budgets, and internal commitments.
  • Assist the Program Manager with the monitoring and assessment of the program performance against plan (schedule and financial).
  • Work with the project team to help identify risk and scope changes, develop, and implement corrective action when necessary to initiate program changes. Maintain MS Schedule regularly.
  • Assist the Program Manager with the control of expenditures per the project budget and report monthly on project budget to actual performance via the Estimate to Complete (ETC) process.

Qualifications:

  • Support the Program Manager with the development of the program's resources. Direct assigned program resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 2-3 years' experience working on projects
  • DoD related work experience
