Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Security Assistant within our AFLCMC/HBG group. The C2ISR Division is responsible for a diverse portfolio that provides "cradle-to grave" support for the U-2 aircraft, E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) aircraft, Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS), the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) system and other C2ISR programs as they transition to sustainment. The C2ISR Division provides worldwide life cycle support across the spectrum of the C2ISR capabilities based enterprise; including supply, distribution, materiel management, acquisition, system engineering and maintenance, financial planning and budgeting, security, flight test, and contracting functions. The Global Network Systems (GNS) Branch (AFLCMC/ HBGW), located at Hanscom AFB, MA, is one of the numerous branches within the C2ISR Division and reports directly to the C2ISR/HBG Senior Materiel Leader. EPASS support is required to execute the major GNS programs in support of the C2ISR Division, to include: AF DCGS Network Infrastructure Transformation (NIT), Extended Tether Program (ETP), and Global Command and Control System - Air Force Infrastructure (GCCS-AF (I)).
The Security Assistant will provide support to perform administrative security functions under the direction of the activity security manager without regard for job series or title or for rank, rate, or grade as long as they have the clearance required for the access needed to perform their assigned duties and tasks.
The Security Assistant will assist the AF Cognizant Security Authority (CSA) in oversight of national security objectives supporting AF interests. The Security Assistant will provide day-to-day support for collateral and/or as specifically directed, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities. This will be accomplished through active and integrated security operations, processes, mechanisms and performed under the direction of Government security administrator.
The Security Assistant will provide multi-disciplinary security support, including aspects of information security, personnel security, operations security, industrial security, communications security, acquisition security, general security, physical security and anti-terrorism/force protection duties, while also being responsive and flexible to dynamic security situations.
The Security Assistant will perform analytical, planning, advisory, operational, or evaluative work that has as its principal purpose the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss.

Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Years' experience: 15 years of directly related experience, 8 years of which must be in the DoD.
