Title: Guest Services Assistant


Reporting to: Supervisor or Manager, Reservations and Customer Service (assigned at hire)


Overview:

Working in a professional environment as part of the Reservations and Customer Service team, this position is responsible for entering and maintaining sensitive guest information, reporting, and fulfilling various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing the highest level of internal and external customer service, and possess strong attention to detail.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry of sensitive information; review for accuracy and overall quality assurance per company guidelines
  • Organize and accurately maintain electronic filing system of information
  • Conduct outbound calls to guests to obtain and/or provide information
  • Provide back-up for various Guest Services tasks
  • Handle reporting for the department as assigned by supervisor
  • Assume other responsibilities as deemed necessary, including administrative assistance to other departments as requested by direct supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of administrative/professional work experience
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Professional telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to mature guests in a courteous, calm and empathic manner
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and multitask in a fast-paced, team environment
  • International travel experience (outside of North America) preferred
