The primary function of the Export Specialist Co-op is to help assist our Canada regional team to assure the timely delivery of the freshest finished goods possible in a cost-effective manner throughout assigned markets in Canada; all functions that "plan, source, make and deliver", our products from our breweries and 3rd party copackers, to our Canadian distributors, government Liquor Boards, and retailers.

In addition, the co-op may be called upon to assist with new product launches and working with our partners to facilitate US/Canada Customs requirements for finished goods, POS materials, and empty keg returns for all markets.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product delivery process, with the end goal of delivering the freshest finished goods possible, in the desired timeframe, as cost effectively as possible across Canada.
  • Proactively address importer and government retail inventory levels, promotions, rollouts of new sku's, and any other issues.
  • Build and recommend orders based off inventory position and forecasted depletions (sales) by SKU.
  • Assist with analyzing the inventory levels and forecast sales by SKU.
  • Serve as a "help desk" to importers, government agencies and sales reps by providing answers to questions, solutions to problems, and guidance through the beer ordering process.
  • Responsible for batching orders into truckloads and maintaining daily shipment schedules from brewery, 3rd party copackers, and warehouses to our Canadian distributor(s) or government agencies.
  • Responsible for maximizing truckload efficiency within assigned region while meeting service requirements.
  • Special projects as designated by the Director of International Sales and/or Senior Specialists
  • Maintain quarterly score card reports (shipments, depletions, inventory positions,) for select provinces.

Qualifications:

  • Able to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
  • Can demonstrate a certain degree of creativity, latitude, and flexibility beyond "the process" is required to work within a complex and dynamic distribution system in Canada.
