Barista Lead - Food Services (Starbucks)
$1,000 sign-on bonus (terms/taxes apply).

Must be able to work every other weekend/holiday as well as pick up shifts between 5:30am-7:30pm *all 8 hour shifts

1. Trains all new baristas on the barista basics program (about one month of training per new employee) 2. Manages rest breaks, inventory, tasks, temperature taking and record keeping. 3. Manages the pull to thaw system for baked goods and sandwiches.
4. Takes care of voids, customer disputes and performing service recoveries on an as needed basis 5. Trains team on all new drinks as they are released each season. 6. Ensures the store is stocked and ready for service during shift. 7. Ensures Starbucks standards of quality are followed. 8. Perform the monthly clean, safe and ready audit with manager on duty. 9. Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients. 10. Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift. 11. Maintains high levels of sanitation of all equipment by adhering to department policies and procedures, Health Dept. codes and J.C.A.H.O. regulations. 12. Contributes to a positive working environment and promotes teamwork by taking initiative to improve overall quality and exceed customer expectations. Maintains clear communication channels and constructive, sensitive relationships with co workers, supervisors, patients, customers, parents and all hospital staff.

Education: High-school or GED diploma required
Work experience: 1 year previous experience required

Physical requirements:
1. Frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting and carrying objects weighing 11 to 20 pounds. 2. Frequently stooping and bending, sitting and standing. 3. Frequently reaching and grasping objects below, at, and above shoulder level. 4. Regularly pushing and/or pulling non-motorized equipment e.g., stretcher, food cart, mop, etc., weighing 11 to 20 pounds. 5. Regularly grasping and fine manipulation with hands. 6. Regularly proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.
