Job Description
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

This position is for an OSP engineer to complete aerial Make Ready field surveys, draft and review existing OSP design prints and project manage all aspects of the job issuance and build associated with aerial Make Ready in the Upstate New York region.

Manage the Make Ready engineering and build schedule, conduct and or coordinate field surveys.

Coordinate resources across multiple organizations and companies, including contractor resources, to align project requirements with business goals and key objectives.

Utilize project tracking tools and systems to accurately document milestones completions, project issues, corrective action plans, project jeopardies, and overall project completions.

Maintain excellent communication with functional team members, direct management, aerial 3rd party attachment applicants and Electric Companies to ensure early identification of Make Ready requirements and design solutions.

The candidate should be self-motivated, be able to see a problem and gets it fixed no matter what, enjoy the challenge of working through complex, cross-functional issues towards a solution.

The candidate should be detail oriented, have strong administration skills, is flexible and thrive under the pressure of a deadline.

The candidate should be able to negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization and influence decisions that yield the best results for our company.

Bachelor s degree, or four plus years of relevant work experience.

Technical or project management experience.

Knowledge of Windows PC software applications, especially spreadsheets, including Google Drive/ Docs and Microsoft Office.

Excellent verbal and written skills for inter-organizational and external customer communications

Strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities to successful completion.

Experience making independent decisions based on policies, practices and project requirements.

Optional additional skills: Knowledge of engineering systems.

OSP Construction knowledge a plus.
