The HR Intern coordinates and supports segments of KI's Human Resources programs for Green Bay Plant employees.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Recruiting, Onboarding, and support of the Green Bay Plant HR department.Responsibilities will require working with confidential information, employees, KI personnel and the public.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate onboarding of new hires.
Assist with employee orientation, benefit and safety training including maintenance of records.
Complete E-verify reports.
Coordinate new employee orientation.
Coordinate pre-employment drug screens.
Maintain Temporary Employee staffing spreadsheets as well as recruiting spreadsheets.
Assist with interviewing.
Coordinate, communicate and document all paperwork associated with new employees as well as those leaving the company.
Coordinate performance review process and maintain records; conduct analysis as needed.
Distribute flyers and mailings to plant mailboxes.
Maintain plant bulletin boards.

Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, vendors and the general public.
Above average knowledge computer programs including Microsoft Office.
Excellent organization skills.
Time management skills with the ability to manage time to accomplish tasks.
Ability to handle diverse situations with employees and managers with dignity and professionalism at all times
Ability to maintain confidentiality and empathy regarding employee issues.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
